Todd Kent Fryer

Todd Kent Fryer, our beloved son and brother, passed away on August 28, 2026, in the home of his loving parents. He was 52.

Todd was born on December 6, 1973, in Murray, Utah. He lived in Sandy, Utah, from childhood into his early teenage years. In 1987, his family moved to Cache Valley, where he lived until his passing.

Todd was a voracious reader and loved an eclectic range of music, which he enjoyed sharing with us. He was athletic and immensely enjoyed the outdoors. Even in his 50s, he would zoom around town on a Onewheel with the ease of a teenager.

Todd had a quiet spiritual side that was warm, tender, and caring. He had a natural ability to sit with those who felt judged or broken. He was a craftsman by trade and was extremely skilled in his work. He took great pride in what he did and the relationships he made with others.

Todd struggled with addiction during his life. He was blessed with parents who loved him unconditionally and a family who knew that, through this struggle, addiction was never the measure of Todd. His warm smile, quick wit, and mischievous sense of humor are how we will remember him. He was generous with his time and always willing to help family and friends.

Todd is remembered and survived by his parents, Kent and Erla Fay Fryer; siblings Doug (Melody) Fryer, Marnie (Luke) Poppleton, Karen (Richard) Johnson, Meredith Neeley (Richard Peterson), and Robert (Kathryn) Fryer. We will miss him dearly here, but we find comfort in knowing he is now in the loving care of his Heavenly Father and reunited with loved ones who went before him, until we meet again.

May compassion temper our judgment, unconditional love guide our hearts, and humility move us to seek the good in all.

FUNERAL SERVICES:

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 South 100 East, Logan, Utah. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be at the Providence City Cemetery.
