Ronald "Ron" Ryan of Young Ward, Utah passed away on January 16, 2024 in Smithfield, Utah. Ron was born to Jack Ryan and Joyce Taylor Ryan on November 4, 1955. Ron was raised in Logan Utah and attended schools in the Logan City School District.

Ron started working for his father at a young age at Ryan's Electric. Throughout his lifetime he was employed by Bonnco Steel Erections, Lundahl Ironworks, R.W. Taylors, North Star Construction and retired from Compass Minerals in 2020. Throughout his employment with North Star, he had the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia and England. England was a highlight for him because his grandfather was born in England and he was able to visit many of the places that his grandpa knew as a child.

Ron was non-judgmental and would gladly give you his last dollar and shirt off his back. If Ron knew you - you were a friend for life. Telling jokes, making people laugh, puttering in his shop, and listening to hard rock music brought him joy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ron married Marilyn Miller, they had a son, Dustin Brett. They later divorced. He married Cynthia Pritchett and they had two children, Delaney and Devin. They later divorced. He married Linda Bailey and they later divorced. He married Barbara Trolson and they later divorced.

Ron is survived by his three children and seven siblings. Janet, Jim, Donna, Gary (Alicia), Gail (Karla), Cindy (Kelly) and Jackie (Jay), sister-in-law Nancy, many nieces and nephews and his best friend Barb. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard, Festus the goat and his dogs Zeke and Buster.

Ron's Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S. 100 E. Logan, UT. A visitation will be held prior the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
