Neil Painter

Neil was born Aug 1, 1938 to Mark Henry Painter and Sarah Irene Patterson in Logan, UT. He was the 9th born in a family of 8 boys & 3 girls. He grew up in Logan, UT.

Neil married Joan Lundberg on Sept 1, 1974 and became an adopted father to Joan's 3yr old son Jason Cory. Later becoming the grandfather of Dylan Jason in 1998 and a great grandfather to Lyla Heather in 2020.

Neil served in the United States Army from 1961-1963 at Fort Lewis, Washington. After that he worked as a Hod Tender until 1986. Then he finished his working career at Thiokol/ATK in 1986 till he retired in 2003 working on solid rocket boosters.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Logan City cemetery at 12:00 P.M. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside service from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at White Pine Funeral Services 753 S. 100 E. Logan, Utah 84321.
