Luke Rigby Allsop

Amalga, Utah

Luke Rigby Allsop a beloved brother, son, grandson, and friend passed away suddenly on December 29, 2025, due to a presumed cardiac event. Luke is the second child and oldest boy to a family of five girls and two boys. Luke's kindness and character will never be forgotten by his family who love him so much and the many people who had the opportunity to call him friend.

Luke is a person of great strength manifested through calmness. His inclination and aptitude to consistently work toward his goals and desires has served him well during his short life. Luke has always confronted trials in life with a quiet resolve to make incremental progress. His good nature and gentleness with others has not gone unnoticed by his school teachers, his church leaders, his family, and his friends.

Luke loved to create things and found satisfaction in learning and working with anything involving robotics, engineering, and design. He attended Green Canyon High School and gravitated toward classes involving physics and math. He attended BTECH courses including before and after school BTECH courses offered at Green Canyon and machining courses offered on the BTECH campus during the summer. He loved designing and creating things with the 3D printer that was gifted to him during Christmas one year before his passing.

Luke worshipped and participated as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was dutiful and cheerful in his church participation and was always willing to help out and think of the needs of others. Luke expressed a desire and intent to serve a full-time mission after completing his high school education.

Luke is survived by his five sisters (Ella, Velva, Rosie, Lucy, and Allison) and his brother (Joseph), his parents Kristen Rigby Allsop and Kenneth Allsop, his maternal grandparents Fred and Fayone Rigby, his paternal grandparents Richard and Cleone Allsop, and by dozens of extended family members.
