Lois Hale

Mar 26, 1931 — Jul 22, 2026

Logan, Utah

“Don’t Cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” – Dr Seuss

Lois passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a very long life. She was the 4th of 6 children born to Karl Barret and Delsa Grant Hale.

Survived by her daughters; Stephanee Elders Mower (Doug), Kari Elders Wright (Craig), Nicolette Elders and Angela Elders; 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren

Lois spent the majority of her life raising and supporting her family. She was married for 18 years to J Ted Elders before having to take on the challenge of single parenting, and moved her daughters to Murray Ut to raise on her own. She decided to attend BYU to acquire her Nursing degree, where she became a huge BYU football fan. She worked in several different Nursing homes to care for others until she retired. Her retirement brought her great happiness because it gave her the freedom to spend all her time driving her cute little red Civic around to visit each daughter’s house and play with the grandkids. She loved that car, and made it very clear she wanted to be buried in it. Sorry we could not honor that request.

Lois was a devout member of the LDS Church, and loved church events and activities. She loved to crochet hats, scarves and baby blankets for the kids, grandkids and all their friends in many styles and colors. She crocheted hats for the cancer society and for the young boys who played on her grandkids sport teams. She loved sharing her knowledge and stories. She had much advice to give, and people quite enjoyed their conversations with her. She was loved and enjoyed by all.
