Krissy Duke

Kristin Lynn Duke—“Krissy” to everyone who was lucky enough to know her—passed away peacefully at her home in Logan, Utah, on November 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born September 16, 1964, in Sunnyvale, California, to Richard Gary and Mariann Owens, Krissy brought sunshine with her wherever she went.

In December 1986 she married the love of her life, Paul Duke, in Ogden, Utah, and they were later sealed for eternity in the Logan Utah Temple. Together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, hard work, and faith that spanned nearly 39 years. Krissy was the devoted mother of Bronson Duke, Cassey Ballinger, and Riley Duke, and the adored grandmother to twelve grandchildren who thought the world of her.

Krissy stayed active walking, hiking, and biking with her family. Later in life she challenged herself by returning to college, proudly earning credits toward the degree she was just one year away from completing. For twenty years Krissy brought her genuine warmth and impeccable style to customers at Nordstrom, where coworkers and shoppers alike became lifelong friends. In recent years she poured that same energy into building Max Clean Co., her successful new construction cleaning business in Northern Utah.

Krissy possessed a special gift—her open heart and warm, bright smile let her love others just as they were, turning everyday interactions into moments people cherished. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she faithfully ministered to the needs of so many.

Krissy is survived by her husband, Paul; her children Bronson (Nicole), Cassey (Markus), and Riley (Katie); twelve cherished grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Dixie Duke; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory forever.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the White Pine Funeral Home, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 5:00–7:00 p.m. and Monday morning from 9:30–10:30 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial services will be at the Providence City Cemetery.
