Katy Ellen Williams went to her heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2026.
She was born on October 9, 1973, in Logan, Utah. Katy was known for her compassion and service-oriented spirit. She lived to help others as much as she could, often spending hours thinking of ways to make someone feel special—whether through a thoughtful gesture, a meaningful gift, or an act of kindness.
Katy loved pink, glitter, scrapbooking, family photos, birthdays, holidays, and most of all, her family. She worked tirelessly to provide for them, giving them everything they needed and much of what they wanted. She devoted countless hours and restless nights to whatever she set her mind to. Whether helping her children with school, completing a days-long work project, planning elaborate birthday celebrations, or earning her bachelor’s degree as a single mother, Katy always saw things through.
Katy was blessed with two children from her first marriage, Joseph Allen and Marjorie “Meggie” Faye Sena. Raising them was her pride, joy, and purpose, and she worked in every way to prepare them for independent and fulfilling lives. Later, Katy fell deeply in love with R. Jim Williams, her devoted husband. Though their time together was short, it was filled with joy and love that marked the pinnacle of her life.
Katy is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Joseph (Adelynne) and Meggie; her grandson, Theodore (son of Joseph and Adelynne); her mother, Patricia; her brother, John; and her sisters, Maryann (Carl) and Elizabeth (Jared). She was preceded in death by her father, Faun; her sister, Lisa; and her sister-in-law, Missy.
A funeral service to honor Katy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at White Pine Funeral Home, 753 South 100 East, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be at the Providence City Cemetery.
