JeNae Thompson Erickson, age 87, passed away in Logan, Utah, on July 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 3, 1938, in North Logan, Utah, she was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. JeNae met her eternal partner, Lynn Erickson, while they were in school, and they were married in the Logan Temple on September 19, 1956. Together they shared a loving marriage of 69 years, building a life centered on faith, family, and enduring love.
JeNae was known for her kindness and selflessness, always putting others before herself. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and offering warmth and wisdom to all who knew her. She enjoyed reading, vacationing, quilting, and especially spending countless hours with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved planting flowers and took great joy in tending her yard, often spending peaceful hours outside visiting with family and friends, and simply enjoying the beauty she had created. Above all, she cherished spending time with her husband, Lynn. Her greatest joy was caring for others, and her home was always filled with love and laughter.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn Erickson; her children, Lynda and Brad Hillyard, Todd and Shar Erickson, Kathryn and Mike Johnson, Vicki Yeates, and Kurt and Nicole Erickson; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the LDS Ward House, 500 North 800 East, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Logan Cemetery.
JeNae touched countless lives through her unwavering kindness, generosity, and care for others. Her gentle presence brought comfort and joy to everyone around her, and the love she gave so freely will be felt for generations. Her absence leaves a space in our hearts that can never be filled, but the memories and lessons she shared will continue to guide and uplift us. Though she is gone, her legacy of love lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
