Gary Neuenswander

Garold Lynn Neuenswander, age 70, was born to Bonnie Dee Drury and Lynn Webster Neuenswander on December 12, 1955 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He passed away on March 5, 2026 in Logan, Utah. For the last 37 years of his life, Cache Valley was home.

One of Gary's great talents was greeting people with joy. He loved his family, friends, work associates, and people in general. For many years, Gary worked as a media specialist. He loved the creativity involved with his work. He felt honored when his photos were published in National Geographic and other publications.

Going with Gary to a movie was usually spent enjoying cinematography, camera angles, and lighting. He loved driving, road trips, good food, and a great brownie. He hated Premier Protein drinks, Gatorade, and bananas.

Growing up, Gary lived in many different places, including Idaho, Washington, and California. For several years his father worked for the Boy Scouts of America, directing scout camps. During summers, Gary loved living at different camps and later worked summers at scout camps himself. As a young man, he served in the Washington DC Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon returning, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from BYU and a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from USU. Gary married Shelly Ann Jensen on March 21, 1989. Together they raised three sons. Throughout his life, his sons brought him great joy. During his time living with cancer, they brought him special love and comfort. He will be greatly missed. We love him.

"Dear Gary, our life together took effort, patience, diligence, and forgiveness. We learned about love together and shared both joy and heartbreak. I miss you very much. My eternal friend through thick and thin, we made it to the end. We had a remarkable life together. May God bless you and keep you and may your smile continue to brighten the universe." -Shelly
