Ferris Jay Jones Hubbard

Ferris Jay Hubbard, 82, passed away on February 24, 2026, at his home in Smithfield. Jay was born on May 23, 1943, the youngest child born to Ernest B. and Pearl J. Hubbard.

Jay was raised in Wellsville and later moved to Chula Vista, CA. with his wife. Together they had two sons and lived there until 1977 when they returned to Cache Valley. They later divorced.

Jay is survived by his sons, Darin (Jeannie) Hubbard and Cory (Kelley) Hubbard, 5 grandkids, and 1 great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents and his 5 siblings.

There will be a graveside service at the Willard Cemetery, 470 N Main Street, Willard, UT on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

The family would like to thank The Loaves & Fishes organization at the First Presbyterian Church of Logan for providing Jay a place of friendship, food and community.
