Everly Jo Bagley

After gracing this earth for a little over seven months, Everly Jo Bagley passed away at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents, Eric and Amira Bagley of Logan, Utah, learned of her complex heart defects before she was born, almost one year to the day before her passing. 

In her short life, Everly underwent three open-heart surgeries, as well as several other medical procedures, and became a favorite of many at Primary Children’s Hospital. Much of the cardiac staff knew her by name and were delighted to have her as their patient. Her bright and happy eyes, along with her cheerful and patient disposition, melted everyone’s heart. 

Her family cherished every day of her life, especially the times they could all be together as a family, whether at home (126 days) or at the hospital (100 days). Everly’s two older sisters, Ava (age 4) and Vienna (age 3), loved to entertain her by bringing her toys, endlessly chattering at her, teaching her what they could, and squealing with delight when Everly laughed, babbled, or touched them.

Her little features were delicate and beautiful, with dark eyes and brows standing out vividly on her fair skin. She gave her love freely with her sweet smile and gentle spirit. Her family adored her and will forever be grateful for their time with her.

They find great comfort and peace in their knowledge of eternal families and the resurrection, made possible through Christ’s atoning sacrifice. They will strive to live worthy of these great blessings to be with Everly forever.
