Ellis Lynn Christensen

In loving memory of Ellis Lynn Christensen. Son of Francis LeRoy and Anna Elvira Christensen, he was born October 9, 1932 in Brigham City, Utah. He passed away at home in Smithfield, Utah on August 12, 2026.

Ellis was raised on the family farm with his sister and four brothers. He met and married his sweetheart Joan, and together they raised three sons. Ellis was a devoted husband, father and friend. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping with the family, and spending time with his sons on the family farm. Never hesitant, Ellis loved to be of service and help others in need.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, sister, three brothers, and son Ron. He is survived by his loving wife and BFF Joan Christensen, brother Evan and wife Geraldine Christensen, son Terry and wife Marilyn Christensen, son Brian, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

The family would like to express our gratitude for the kindness, caring and compassion of the doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers who cared for Ellis.

A funeral service for Ellis will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 12:00 noon at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at White Pine. The interment will follow the funeral service in the Smithfield City Cemetery, 300 East Center Street, Smithfield, Utah.
