Edna Leticia Clark (Castillo) Born on September 6, 1960 to Valdemar and Noemi Castillo, in Del Rio, Texas, Edna Leticia Clark (Castillo) a beacon of love, laughter, and luminous joy, returned to her Father in Heaven surrounded by love and family, leaving behind a legacy woven through musicals, animated classics, and the laughter of grandchildren she cherished beyond measure.
She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. That devotion showed not only in her beliefs but in the way she served, loved, and nurtured everyone around her. Edna cultivated a deep passion for music—especially musicals, animated classics, and *Glee*, which she watched on joyful repeat. She played the clarinet beautifully and proudly passed that gift on to two of her children. Her home was filled with rhythm, laughter, and the magic of stories that brought the family closer.
Her life unfolded in beautiful chapters. Edna married young and had three children, then later met Brad Clark—the love of her life—with whom she built a new legacy and welcomed three more children. Together, they lived throughout Cache Valley before settling into their forever home in Nibley, Utah, where family blossomed and traditions took root. She also loved playing pool and was fiercely loyal to her dart league, which quickly became more than competition—it was family. Summers were spent camping with friends who became chosen family, weaving a tapestry of community that extended far beyond bloodlines. One of her most beloved traditions was the annual Lagoon trip, where thrill rides and candy apples brought her endless joy.
But of all her roles, Edna’s favorite was being Grandma. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was boundless and beautifully simple: painting nails, braiding hair, playing games and making memories stitched with kindness. Lexie, one of her many adoring grandchildren, fondly recalled their favorite ritual—doing each other’s hair.
Edna is preceded in death by her sons Terry James (T.J.) and Michael David Fluckiger; her parents Valdemar Castillo Sr. and Noemi Aguirre Castillo; her brother Valdemar Jr. Castillo; and her nieces Amber Edwards and Spenser Cole; and many other beloved family members whose memories she cherished deeply.
She is survived by her loving husband Bradley Clark; children Angela Allan (Frank Fencil) of Smithfield, Shantel (Craig) Anderson of Nibley, Robby Clark of Nibley, and Tish Clark (Aaron Piper) of Nibley. She is also survived by her five sisters, thirteen adoring grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren who will carry her legacy in their laughter, songs, and stories.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the dedicated caregivers who comforted Edna with love and compassion until her passing. Edna touched many lives—and in return, she was deeply loved. Her spirit will live on in every dart thrown, every family movie night, every brightly colored manicure, and every melody sung from the heart.
