Douglas J. Warren

Douglas J. Warren, passed away on Thursday February 12, 2025, in Hyrum, Utah of a neurodegenerative disorder. Born March 25,1945 in Payson, Utah to Dean Theron Warren and Deon Spencer Warren.

Doug is survived by his wife, Jill; his children, Douglas Warren (Ame), Dustin Warren (Angie), Daniel Warren, Dean Warren, Stanley Williams (Raynail) and Cecil Warren; Thomas Reynolds (Brenda), Emily Smith (Kris), and Nick Reynolds; his brother, Val Warren (Marilyn), and his sister, Sue Jorgensen (Jay), and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Warren and Steven Warren and his wife, Frances McTee.

Doug was a man born a hundred years too late. He lived simply and never needed material things. He took time to smell the roses and believed in quality, hard work. Laboring from sun-up to sundown and quite often the job ended with him bringing in flowers for ‘his wife’.

He had a tough exterior, but a tender heart. He loved his family and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing trips, and friendly competitions with his children and grandchildren, and was a longtime 49ers fan. Doug had a passion for bowling and treasured the friendships he made in his league. At age 17, he enlisted in the Army and served for 2 years.

We would like to give special thanks to the CNS Hospice team, especially Robert and Mike for their care and compassion and the relationship they built with Doug. We will be forever grateful.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at White Pine Funeral Home, 753 South 100 East Logan, Utah.  A viewing will be held before the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be at the Hyrum City Cemetery.
