Charles Wayne Olson

Charles Wayne Olson passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 at the age of 77.

Wayne was born on March 18th, 1949 in Millville Utah. Wayne lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose quiet strength and generous heart touched everyone who knew him.

Wayne spent many years working as a meat cutter and meat manager for Maceys, where he was respected for his hard work and integrity. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and hunting. His greatest joy was spending time with those he loved.

He has survived by his wife, Joan of 50 years and 4 daughters. Julie McFarland , American Fork UT; Angie (Brian) Hadlock, Idaho falls ID; Mandie (Tim)Jensen, Hyrum UT; Melissa (Bart)Porter, Custer MT. 10 grandkids and 7 great grandkids. His sister Teresa Bassett and brother Del Olson.

He is proceeded in death by his mother and father Ranee Olson and Doug Olson. Also a brother Brad Olson.

Those who knew Wayne will remember his kindness, honesty, sense of humor and the love he freely gave to others. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20th at 11:00 AM at the White Pine Funeral Services Chapel, 753 South 100 East, in Logan. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home and from 9:00-10:30 AM prior to the funeral on Monday. Interment will be in the Millville City Cemetery.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. And for the gentle kindness and care he was given by those at Autumn Care memory center especially Toni.
