Richard Cary Fehler, age 65, of Providence, Utah, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on March 30th, 2026, after a long and courageous battle of pancreatic cancer.

He was known for his hard-working nature and his natural smart-ass personality. Richard (known as Cary) was born on Dec. 9th, 1960, in Boulder City, NV to Richard and Sue. Later, moving to Sandy, UT, with his mother and Sister. Cary graduated from Jordan High School in 1978 and then went on to serve an LDS mission in both Wisconsin and Washington D.C.

Throughout his career as a truck driver, he worked for C.R. England and retired with Old Dominion Freight line.

From an earlier marriage, he was blessed with three children, Lindsey, Jamie, and Chris. He later met his greatest love, Kristine. They were married in September 2007, where he was additionally blessed with one bonus child, Courtney. Cary and Kristine were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah Temple on September 26, 2009. Nearly 21 years of love, partnership, and unwavering companionship were shared.

Cary enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, vacationing to Hawaii and Cancun and he had a deep love for the Green Bay Packers GO PACK GO. He also loved spending as much time as he could teaching and playing with his grandchildren. He found the most joy spending time with family, serving the church, and taking pride in his hard work ethic.

He is survived by his parents, Richard (Liz) Fehler of Las Vegas, NV, and Sue Dunster of Dayton, ID. His loving wife, Kristine Fehler of Providence, UT. His children: Lindsey (Matt) Wilkins of Saratoga Springs, UT; Jamie (Jeremy) Nielson of Mayfield, UT; Courtney (Derek) Billings of Nibley, UT; and Chris Fehler of Kamas, UT. His half siblings: Jeff (Wendy) Fehler of Elk Ridge, CA and Scott (Wendy) Fehler of Henderson, NV. His bonus siblings: Linda (Jim) Stevenson; Shauna (Frank) Peterson; Anne (Scott)(dec) Brown; Martin Dunster; Sheri (Rick)(dec) Davies, and Bonnie Jo Pulsipher. His 13 grandchildren: Sawyer Wilkins, Kayson Billings, Everleigh Wilkins, MaKiya Nielson, Kenley Billings, Katherine and Kaleb Billings, Solenne Wilkins, LaiKyn Nielson, Piper Wilkins, Alexander Fehler, Trasyn Nielson, and Lenyx Nielson. And last but not least, his favorite four-legged best friend Harley, who brought much joy during the last couple of years. He is proceeded in death by his stepfather Jim Dunster and his beloved sister Kelly Lynn Fehler.

The Family would like to personally thank the all the wonderful staff at Logan Cancer Center, Dr. Richard Johnson, Kyle Raymond, Dr. James Mathews and Intermountain Hospice for all their hard work, love, dedication and support during this difficult time.

A funeral service to honor the life of Richard Cary Fehler will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, at White Pine Funeral Home, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the funeral home.

Cary will be truly missed by all! We love you till we meet again.
