In Loving Memory of Brenda Sue Moore

August 25, 1944 — April 12, 2025

Paradise, Utah

Sue Moore Snider passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Logan, Utah, at the age of 80. She was residing with her son, David Snider, and his family at the time of her passing.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, on August 25, 1944, Sue was the daughter of William Donalson Moore and Mary Frances Sutherland. She grew up in the town of Nitro, WV, where her natural warmth and friendliness were evident from an early age.

Throughout her life, Sue lived in many places across the United States and abroad, following her husband’s 30-year naval career. She once studied to become a nurse—a dream she held close—but the demands of raising a family and frequent military moves made that path unattainable. Still, her nurturing spirit, quiet strength, and compassion touched countless lives in deeply personal ways, much like a healer would.

Sue was endlessly curious and committed to personal growth. She earned her real estate license, took countless development courses, and taught herself new skills simply because she believed in lifelong learning and self-reinvention.

She is preceded in death by two of her beloved children, Anna Marie Snider and Stephen E. Snider Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Leah S. Rowley and her husband Steven, and by her son, David J. Snider and his wife Eileen. Sue adored all four of her children and considered their spouses her own children—loved with equal devotion and tenderness.

Sue also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, each one a source of light and joy in her life. Sue nurtured bonds with a wide circle of friends, both lifelong and new. Those who knew her were touched by her warmth, laughter, and unwavering faith.
