Brenda R. Ferre Demler

Brenda R. Ferre Demler, of Providence, Utah passed away August 16, 2026 at age 69.

Brenda was born in Nephi, Utah on May 30, 1957 to Sheri and Iris Ferre where she grew up in a loving home, family, and community.

Throughout her early years, Brenda attended school and graduated from Juab High School in 1975 and was also named Ute Stampede Rodeo Queen that same year. She went on to obtain her associates degree from Provo College and ended up in Cache Valley for school at Utah State University where she also worked as a secretary for Delorian Manufacturing.

From here, through a coworker and common friend, she was introduced to Chad Demler, married the summer of 1981 and settled together in Providence, Utah where she gained a family and started one of her own.

She continued work at Delorian Manufacturing for 20 years, moved on to be a secretary at the Logan City Courts for 8 years and ended her career as a secretary at Utah State University for the department of animal science for 2 years. Afterwards, she enjoyed cleaning houses for multiple ladies around town and enjoyed getting to know these ladies well.

Brenda had a sweet, gentle, and loving nature that touched everything around her. She cared deeply for her family and friends and extended that same kindness to the animals she loved, as well as to the home and garden she enjoyed tending to.

She had many creative talents and enjoyed painting/drawing, sewing, cooking and mostly spending time in nature with the many dogs she had along the way. She enjoyed hiking and playing the piano as well.

Overall, she found great joy in creating warmth and comfort wherever she was, and everything in her care seemed to flourish. She had a patient and tender love that she gave so naturally and freely leaving everything around her feeling a little more peaceful and a little more beautiful.

Brenda enjoyed serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She fulfilled many callings including various roles from teacher to president in Young Women's, attending and playing piano in Relief Society, playing the piano for Primary, and her most favorite, serving as a nursery leader.

She lived the last 7 years of her life under full time care from her husband after suffering a massive stroke and eventually move to Providence Assisted Living Center for even more special care for the final 8 months. We are grateful to the staff and residents for the loving care and concern they gave to our wife, mother, and grandmother.

Brenda is survived by her husband Chad Demler of Providence, Utah, her brother Greg (Rolayne) Ferre of Nephi, Utah, her children Terese (Ryan) Beck of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Shane (Roxie) Demler of Newton, Utah, Natalie Demler of Portland, Main, Chris (Amy) Demler of Providence, Utah and 8 grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her daughter Dana Demler, and parents/in laws (Sherl and Iris Ferre), (Clyde and Marion Demler)

Funeral services are being provided by White Pine Funeral Home 753 S. 100 E. Logan, Utah 84321. A family visitation will take place October 17 from 10:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at White Pine Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. at the Providence Cemetery. A luncheon will be served from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the LDS Church 485 W. 150 S. Providence, Utah for friends and family.
