Boyd Clifton Anderson

February 9, 1968 — April 16, 2025

"Aquaman, Artist, Traveler, & Friend"

Boyd was the original Master Roaster at Ibis Coffee, where he poured his heart into the craft for over 20 years. His skill and dedication shaped not only the flavor of the coffee but the spirit of the community that gathered around it.

Outside of work, Boyd was an artist with an eye for beauty and a deep connection to the water. Whether swimming, boating, skiing, or kayaking, he was in his element—earning him the affectionate nickname "Aquaman" among those who knew and loved him.

Boyd had an adventurous spirit and a profound appreciation for the natural world. He loved to travel and explore nature’s beauty, always seeking new experiences and moments of awe. His journeys, whether near or far, were often reflected in his artwork and the stories he shared.

He also had a special place in his heart for Greyhounds, rescuing and adopting four over the past decade. Each one was cherished, pampered, and treated to frequent outings as part of Boyd’s extended family. Their athletic, elegant and gentle nature mirrored his own.

Boyd is survived by his mother, Camille Card Fackrell; his sisters, Vikki Pingle and Melanie Abplanalp; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. His gentle nature, warmth, creativity, and quiet generosity left a lasting mark on everyone he met.

In honor of Boyd’s deep love and passion for Greyhound rescue, the family kindly asks that donations be made to that cause in lieu of flowers or gifts. His favorite was Grey2K USA Worldwide at https://www.grey2kusa.org but there are several others to choose from.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please check White Pine Funeral Home’s website for updates.
