With profound sadness and love, we announce the passing of Barbara Hargis, who left this world on September 26, 2025, in Logan, Utah. She was born on March 14, 1963, and lived a life full of love, creativity, and devotion to her family.
Barbara was the beloved wife of Ricky Hargis, and a devoted mother to her five children: daughters Sierra Hargis and Challis Hill, and sons Collin Worthen, Zach Worthen, and Nick Worthen. She was also a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy and purpose.
Barbara lived life with a passion that was contagious. She loved to write, sing, and dance — always expressing herself with creativity and joy. She was a free spirit with a tender heart, and she gave her love generously to those around her.
She also had a deep love for animals and shared a special bond with her three dogs — LJ, Stella, and Iggy — who brought her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. They remain with the family today, a living reminder of the warmth she gave.
Above all, Barbara loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and her love for her husband, Ricky, was unwavering and strong — a beautiful partnership built on decades of deep connection and care. Her life was richly woven with the threads of love, laughter, and memories that will be carried forward by all who knew her.
Those who knew Barbara will remember her warmth, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on a later date. Family and friends will be invited to gather in remembrance of a life that was lived fully and beautifully.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
