Aaron Robert Phillips, 37, of Hyrum, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by the family and friends he spent his life protecting, on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, at Rocky Mountain Care in Logan, Utah.

Born on October 7th, 1989, Aaron lived his life with a singular mission: to make the people around him smile. He was the ultimate protector of his family and friends, showing his deep love not just through words, but through quiet, random acts of service. If you knew Aaron, you knew his contagious sense of humor and his endless supply of jokes—he simply loved a good old time with good music and good food.

A true master pit boss, Aaron prided himself on smoking the absolute best brisket and barbecue ribs around. He was happiest outdoors, whether he was casting a line, tearing up the trails mountain biking with his beloved girls, Liala and Nova, or out in the open air flying RC airplanes with his son, Kai. He was always ready to race RC cars with anyone who dropped by the house for a visit.

His greatest joy and proudest achievement was his family. Aaron is survived by his devoted wife of 8 years, Kira Phillips, and their four beautiful children who carry his bright spirit: Liala (6), Nova (5), Kai (3), and Maverick (22 months). He is also survived by his loving mother, Suzie Phillips of Tremonton; and his siblings, Adam Phillips (Ogden), Kathryne Phillips (Ogden), Michael Phillips (Logan), and Mackenzie Phillips (Tremonton).

Aaron was reunited in peace with his father, Robert Phillips, who preceded him in death.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Aaron's life at the following services:

• Thursday Evening Viewing: Thursday, October 22nd, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 245 Apple Drive, Hyrum, Utah.

• Friday Morning Viewing & Service: Friday, October 23rd, with a viewing from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at 245 Apple Drive, Hyrum, Utah.

• Interment: Monday, October 26th, at 12:00 p.m. at the Sutton Cemetery in Rexburg, Idaho.
